All New Honda Civic Si Coupe and Si Sedan Revealed on YouTube
One of the most exciting vehicles in the Honda lineup is the Civic Si. Since Honda recently gave the Civic a full refresh, it was also time to update its performance version. Honda recently revealed both the Si Coupe and Si Sedan via YouTube on April 6th, and we here at Rock Honda in Fontana, CA are so excited for this latest development to the Honda line. Here’s what you need to know!
 Honda News, April 2017
Powering the all-new 2017 Honda Civic Si Coupe and 2017 Honda Civic Si Sedan is a 1.5 liter direct-injection, turbocharged, dual overhead cam four cylinder engine. The introduction of the turbocharge is significant to the Si as all previous Si models relied on free-revving naturally aspirated engines. The new engine produces an invigorating 205 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to the turbocharger the power arrives sooner and has better mid-range response.
The Civic Si will have a sporty interior with its own special touches to set it apart from the rest of the Civic lineup. It will offer luxury features like an electronic parking brake, dual-zone climate control, and heated front seats. A 7-inch touchscreen will have integrated Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, making it easy to sync your device. Keeping the driver in place are heavily bolstered front sport seats exclusive to the Si models. Red sport stitching is found throughout the cabin including the seats, doors, steering wheel, and leather shift boot.
The new Civic already features edgy and dynamic styling. The Si models will further amplify the attitude. Up front, the Si models feature large air intakes. Sporty 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels sit prominently at each corner. They wear 235-mm wide high-performance tires. The Si Sedan has a deck lid spoiler while the Si Coupe gets an imposing raised spoiler.
